For this photo I had my dad drive me to the arboretum. The peonies weren't in bloom yet so I saw these other flowers that were decent. I awkwardly leaned over the bush of them on my tip toes to snag a picture from above. A few people looked at me kind of weirdly as I took the photo. One challenge was trying not to get the woodchips from the ground in the photo because I feel like it wouldn't look as nice. In the end, I think it turned out really nice.

I was going out to eat with my dad when I took this. We were just walking down the street and I knew that I had to get photos for photography. So, that day I looked for things that had just a pop of color and this one was really cool to me. It was such a bright yellow and stood out. I'm really happy how this one turned out I think it looks cool.

This is my cat Charlie and I think that he is beautiful. I knew I wanted to do a mask of his eyes from the moment this project was introduced. They are very green and I knew they would stand out against black and white very well. He is a good model and didn't move that much as I took the picture. I love the end result I think it gives the photo a slight pop.

This one I also took when I was in Ann Arbor with my dad. It makes me happy because we eat lunch together a lot and this photo reminds me of that. I thought that all of the tulips were lovely at this season and snapped a photo. I didn't plan to make this into a mask at first. Then I realized that it would be cool to have just one flower and I love the end result.

This is yet another photo that I took from the arboretum. I thought that these flowers looked delicate and didn't have too much color but a nice amount. I tried to focus on just the flowers closest to me. When I was coloring the photo, I decided to color all of the flowers that were purple, even the ones in the background. This photo turned out so nice, I am really happy with all of my masks.
